For those looking for a day trip into the Grand, but still want to see all they can. A North Rim day trip offers cooler temps than the South side but keeps the spectacular scenery.

Let our guides lead you down to the Coconino Overlook, Supai Tunnel, or possibly even Roaring Springs! All the while enjoying a little more shade, one of the Grand Canyon's best-groomed trails, and stories of the Native Americans and Pioneers that were the first to head down the north side of the Grand Canyon.

You'll meet your guide at or near the Trail Head on the day of your hike.  Your hike time will be discussed with you after booking based on the current weather and your hike desires.

NGC GUIDES PROMISE YOU A GREAT EXPERIENCE, with top-of-the-line equipment, great food, and an experienced guide to get you home safely.

DETAILS

Is this hike for me?

Yes, most can make this hike. We've taken youth and up to 70+ years old. Less conditioned hikers may take a bit longer to hike in between campsites, but that's ok, our guide will make sure you get there. If you have ANY concerns with your ability to complete this hike, please reach out. We can provide you with training programs to help with your hiking stamina, and routines to help with any current or anticipated joint (knee) problems. With that said, this trip should not be taken lightly, it is VERY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING, with great reward.

What will we eat?

We'll bring lunch and snacks! Make sure you're well fueled to start this hike, you'll be using up all those carbs.

What Gear will be supplied?

We'll provide a hydration pack or day pack, and trekking poles. You'll need to bring at least 3 liters water.

What do I need to bring?

The capacity for 3 Liters of Water. Our packs have space for water bladders if you prefer. Our guides typically will just use 2 x 1.5 liters in a refilled plastic water bottle such as Smart Water.
